City of Phoenix Elections in August!
 

The next election for City of Phoenix Mayor and Council Members in Districts 1, 3, 5 and 7 will be held in August, 2011.

Important Dates:

• August 1, 2011 (Monday) 
  Latest date to register to vote for Mayor and Council Election. City Code, Sec. 12-106
• August 19, 2011 (Friday) 
  Latest date to request an early ballot by mail. City Code, Sec. 12-903
• August 26, 2011 (Friday) 
  Latest date to vote early at an early voting location. City Code, Sec. 12-907 
• August 27-30 Mayor and Council Election 
  Voting begins at voting center locations on Saturday, August 27, 2011 and continues on Monday, August 29 and Tuesday, August 30.
• August 30 beginning at 8 PM - Election results will be available on www.Phoenix.gov and on Qwest and Cox cable channel 11.
• September 14, 2011 (Wednesday) 
  Latest date the Council shall meet as the Canvassing Board to announce and declare the results of the election. City Charter, Chapter XIII, Sec. 1
